The Bad Wound Tiospaye is made up of four children that all come from Old Man Bad Wound (Owe Sica).

The Robert Bad Wound Tiospaye lived out at Ten Bar, about nine miles north of Martin. The family lived along Pretty Hip Creek. Robert always ran cattle, which he had about 100 head, and also had about 200 head of horses, which were used in rodeos in South Dakota and Nebraska. Robert Bad Wound built a school for his grandchildren out at Ten Bar, which housed many students from the surrounding communities over the years.

The Dan Black Horn Tiospaye lived in the Allen and Porcupine area. Dan and his wife Bertha were both part of the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and toured all over Europe. Upon their return from their tours, they would bring dishes and material back to their families. Jennie Imitates Dog remembers Dan giving her grandparents, Robert and Jennie Bad Wound dishes from Europe.
